Our main Sunday morning service take place at 10.45 a.m. The Sunday morning service is an informal and friendly service which is suitable for all ages. On the first Sunday of the month we have an All-Age Service which is aimed at all ages. At all the other services there are activities for children and young people (Rockets, Sparks and Ignite) as well as FROGGIES for pre-school children and babies. The service includes singing and prayer as well as reading and teaching from the Bible. The music includes modern worship songs as well as traditional hymns and we use a variety of instruments to support the worship. We use display screens at the front of church, but large print copies of all aspects of the service are also available.
Every week you will find a news sheet inside the pew bible provided. This useful little sheet contains information on forthcoming services as well as other activities and church news.
After the service, refreshments are served in the church centre. This is a good time to begin to get to know other people.
Our evening service is at 6.30 p.m. We still aim to offer friendly welcome and base our teaching on the Bible, but most evening services offer a much quieter and more traditional feel. Evening services are based around evening prayer or Holy Communion and use traditional hymns. On the fourth Sunday each month, the 6.30pm service is a more informal and modern (New Wine style) Hungry for God service.
