Youth at Holy Trinity on a Sunday
Ignite (school years 6 – 9)
Every Sunday we meet to find out more about Jesus. We get into the Bible for ourselves in different ways – including Bible relays, acting, drawing, highlighting among others – think about what God is teaching us and how to apply it. (Please note that during the pandemic, we are meeting once a month on a Sunday afternoon - please e-mail Charles on email@example.com for more details)
To give a flavour of what we look at, before the pandemic, in the Spring term 2020, we are looking at Jonah - especially God's plan to bless the nations - and then the book of Ruth - especially how amazing it is to have a redeemer who notices us and sacrifices for us. A copy of the teaching programme for Jonah outline can be found here (click on the word "here") and a copy of the teaching programme for Ruth can be found here (click on the word "here").
Each week the young people will be given a take home sheet with questions for you to ask them and for them to ask you about what has been learnt. A copy of this sheet can be found below (click on the date):

On All Age services we join in with the rest of the church family.
We believe teenagers are young adults and by the time they reach year 10 should be seeing themselves as adult members of the church family. So, older teenagers join in with the main Sunday services in various ways from being a regular member of the congregation to being involved with the music, the AV and the children's groups.
