Building project 2026 - 2027

One current member of our church reckons that talk about re-ordering our wonderful church building has been going on for over 50 years.

In 2024 we were the fortunate recipients of a grant from SMMIB (Strategic Mission & Ministry Investment Board) which amongst other things meant we could finally go ahead with our plans to re-imagine the space....or so we thought.  Because even though we had been awarded a large sum of money it wasn't quite enough.  Incredibly late in 2025 another Church who had also recieved a grant decided that God was telling them to give up their portion in order for our project to go ahead.  

So we are incredibly blessed and extremely excited to say that in this our 150th year since the church was built - phase 1 of our building project is going ahead with the site handed over to Reynolds Conservation Ltd (Main Contractor) on 8th June 2026.  The program time is thought to be around 54 weeks.
