Youth

...on Sunday

Investigators (school years 6 – 9)

Every Sunday we meet to find out more about Jesus. We will follow the outline of the service which the adults are in, look at the same passage as well as explain different aspects of the service. We get into the Bible for ourselves in different ways – including Bible relays, acting, drawing, highlighting among others – think about what God is teaching us and how to apply it.

We also encourage our youth to serve and be part of the adult service when we feel that is right for them.

If you have any questions, please e-mail Charles on youth@holytrinity.org.uk

On All Age services we join in with the rest of the church family.

Rooted (school years 8 - 13)

6-7:30pm on the first Sunday of the month
We believe teenagers are young adults and by the time they reach year 10 should be seeing themselves as adult members of the church family. So, older teenagers join in with the main Sunday services in various ways from being a regular member of the congregation to being involved with the music, the AV and the children's groups. However, we also recognise that they are still learning and growing. As a result, we run "Rooted" on the first Sunday of each month. We spend time catching up, looking through a book we have read together to equip us to handle the Bible well, think about big questions we may want to know the answer to or share with our friends, play games together, laugh a lot and, of course, have snacks of different sorts! If you would like to join, then do get in touch with Charles on youth@holytrinity.org.uk for more details and for where we meet.

...during the week

Explore

(School years 7 - 13)
Complete a consent form online by clicking HERE.

Explore meets on a Thursday evening 6.30pm - 8pm in Holy Trinity church centre, B64 6JA. We spend time exploring who Jesus is and the life He offers, playing games (some quite silly), doing craft and activities, chatting, eating snacks and laughing.

A typical evening will look like:
6:30-6:50pm Activities (choose from chatting, games, craft, sport - probably not everything every week but a selection of things to do)
6:50-7:20pm Talk with discussion in groups as part of
7:20-8pm Activities (sometimes as before, sometimes challenges)

...in the summer

Each year, some of our youth attend summer ventures around the country.

These are a great opportunity to get away for a week together, have a lot of fun and think more about who Jesus is. For more details, click on the link below to go to the website for the individual venture. There is also a link to a document that we have put together to answer some questions you may have.
